VFW Post 8790 was honored to march in this year's Memorial Village Independence Day Parade, a celebration overflowing with patriotic spirit, vibrant red, white, and blue, and an outpouring of community pride.
Leading our contingent, the Post 8790 Honor Guard is setting a powerful tone for the festivities. Behind them, comrades and auxiliary members -- many sporting flags, festive attire, and big smiles -- waved to cheering families who lined the streets. The energy was electric, fueled by laughter and the unified applause for all who have worn the uniform.
Participating in this tradition reminds us why we serve: to honor those who sacrificed, to celebrate the freedom they secured, and to strengthen the bond between veterans and our neighbors. We are grateful to everyone who turned out to support us and to share a day filled with heartfelt patriotism.
Thank you, Memorial Village, for inviting VFW Post 8790 to be a part of such a memorable Independence Day. We look forward to continuing our mission of service -- today, tomorrow, and every day we have the privilege to represent our nation's heroes.
