    Richard K. King, age 89, went to be with the Lord on August 5, 2021 in Houston, Texas.

    Richard K. King, age 89, went to be with the Lord on August 5, 2021 in Houston, Texas.

    Richard (Richard Kirby) was born in Waco, Texas on February 16, 1932 to Cuvir Richard (Dick) King and Doris Brown King. The family moved to Houston Heights area when he was a young child. It was there he met his lifelong friend Robert (Bobby) Broussard. He left High School when his reserve unit was called to active duty. The Marine Corp took him to action in Korea. Upon his return from the Marine Corp, Richard went to work for Houston Lighting & Power as a lineman's helper. H
